Itinerary Details

Arrive Delhi railway station or Airport meet our Representative and Proceed to Haridwar. Haridwar reach and check-in to the hotel, later explore Haridwar sight-seen – Har Ki Pauri, Mansa Devi (by ropeway), Chandi Devi (by ropeway), Shanti Kunj, Daksh Mahadev Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Saptrishi Ashram, Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Haridwar hotel.

Pick up from Haridwar after Ganga Snan drive to Barkot (190 Km. / 6 to 7 Hrs.). After arrival check into the hotel. Get relaxed and refreshed. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Early morning: Leave for Yamunotri (approx. 45 km from Barkot). You can either trek 6 km from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri or take a pony/palki. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach the temple. Perform rituals, Pooja & seek blessings at Yamunotri Temple situated on the bank of Yamuna River, and you can take a dip in the Yamunotri hot springs (Tapt Kund). Here are some key sightseeing spots you can visit while in Yamunotri. Surya Kund: Close to the Yamunotri Temple. This is another hot spring, known for its high temperature, and you can cook rice or potatoes in the spring's boiling water. It is considered an offering to the gods. Divya Shila: A little distance from the Yamunotri Temple. Divya Shila is a sacred stone pillar. Pilgrims stop here to offer prayers before proceeding to the temple. It is considered a very holy site, and devotees bow before it as part of their journey. Saptarishi Kund: A trek of about 5 km from the Yamunotri Temple. Saptarishi Kund is the source of the Yamuna River. A difficult trek will take you to this serene, high-altitude lake, where the water emerges from under the glaciers. It is considered very sacred, and it's a beautiful spot for nature lovers. Kharsali Village: Around 2 km from Yamunotri, Kharsali is a scenic village. Kharsali is famous for its beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. You can visit the Shani Temple here, dedicated to Lord Shani. The village is a peaceful place, perfect for unwinding after the trek to Yamunotri. Hanuman Chatti: 13 km before Yamunotri, near Janki Chatti. This is a beautiful spot with scenic views of the Yamunotri range. You can also visit the Hanuman Temple here. It's a great spot to rest on your journey before starting the trek to the Yamunotri Temple. Janki Chatti: About 5 km before Yamunotri. Janki Chatti is where the trek to Yamunotri starts. It's known for its hot springs and scenic beauty. Pilgrims can rest here before proceeding to the temple. Return to Barkot in the evening for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast Drive to Uttarkashi (approx. 5-6 hours, 100 km). Reach and check into hotel, get relaxed and refreshed. Evening: Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi or Netala.

Morning: Leave early for Gangotri (approx. 100 km from Uttarkashi). After breakfast drive to Gangotri Temple via Harsil, Bhaironghati. Mostly prefer to dip in Bhagirathi River and after that worship in Gangoti Temple. Explore Himalayan view & after lunch return back to Uttarkashi for night halt. Dinner and overnight stay.

Post breakfast drive to Guptkashi or Sonprayag (approx. 7-8 hours, 230 km). Evening: Check-in at your hotel in Guptkashi and rest.

Morning Drive to Sonprayag and from there, take a local jeep (direct payment basis) to Gaurikund (approx. 30 minutes). Gaurikund is the base for the Kedarnath trek. The place is named after Goddess Gauri (Parvati), Lord Shiva’s consort, and it is believed to be the site where Gauri bathed before marrying Shiva. Trek: From Gaurikund, trek around 16 km to Kedarnath. You can opt for a pony or palki ride. Offer prayers at the Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath Temple: This ancient temple is the focal point of Kedarnath and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level. It offers a breathtaking view of snow-capped peaks and is surrounded by the stunning Kedarnath range. Overnight Stay in Kedarnath (in GMVN guesthouses or camps).

Post breakfast proceed to Kedarnath’s nearby sightseen. Chorabari Lake (Gandhi Sarovar): A serene glacial lake located about 3 km from the Kedarnath Temple, it’s a peaceful spot with clear waters and beautiful mountain views. It is believed to have spiritual significance and is often visited by trekkers and pilgrims. Vasuki Tal: A high-altitude lake situated about 8 km from Kedarnath, it offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks like Chaukhamba and Kedarnath. It’s an ideal spot for trekking and adventure lovers. Shankaracharya Samadhi: This is the place where Adi Shankaracharya is believed to have meditated and attained Samadhi. It's located near the Kedarnath Temple and is of great spiritual significance. Bhairavnath Temple: Located about 1.5 km from Kedarnath Temple, this temple is dedicated to Bhairav, a fierce form of Lord Shiva. It offers panoramic views of the Kedarnath Valley. Surya Kund: A hot spring located near the Kedarnath Temple, believed to have therapeutic properties. Pilgrims take a dip in these hot springs after visiting the temple. Trek back from Kedarnath to Gaurikund, and then drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Post breakfast drive to Govindghat or Badrinath (approx. 7-8 hours, 190 km). Evening: Reach and check-in your hotel.

Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath Dham. Offer prayers at the Baba Badrinath Temple. The Badrinath Temple is the primary attraction in Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is located at an altitude of 3,133 meters (10,279 feet) and is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The temple's architecture is stunning, with intricate carvings and a golden canopy. It’s known for its main idol of Lord Vishnu, which is said to be a black stone statue. The temple opens only for six months each year, from May to October, due to the extreme weather conditions in the winter. Post Pooja at Badrinath Temple, proceed to Badrinath’s nearby sightseen. Tapt Kund: Tapt Kund is a natural hot spring located just below the Badrinath Temple. Pilgrims take a ritual dip in the hot water before visiting the temple. The water of the Kund is believed to have medicinal properties and is highly revered by visitors for its purifying effect. Neelkanth Peak: Neelkanth is the highest peak in the Badrinath region, standing at 6,597 meters (21,640 feet). It offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. It is said that this peak is the place where Lord Shiva meditated, and the beautiful blue colour of the peak gives it its name "Neelkanth" (blue throat). Mana Village: Mana is a small village situated just a few kilometers from Badrinath, near the Indo-Tibetan border. It is known as the last village before Tibet. The village has several important sites such as: Vyas Gufa: A cave where Sage Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata. Ganesh Gufa: A cave dedicated to Lord Ganesha, believed to be the place where Lord Ganesha wrote the Mahabharata. Bhimpul: A natural stone bridge over the Saraswati River, associated with the Pandavas from the Mahabharata. Saraswati River: The Saraswati River, considered sacred, flows near Mana Village. It is believed to be a mystical river that disappears underground near Mana and reappears at a distance. Pilgrims often visit this river to offer prayers. Brahma Kapal: Brahma Kapal is a sacred spot located near the Badrinath Temple, where it is believed that the ancestors of devotees can receive salvation by performing certain rituals. It is famous for the rituals related to the "Pind Daan" ceremony, which is an offering to ancestors. Charanpaduka: Charanpaduka is a small plateau located at an altitude of around 3,380 meters (11,090 feet). It is believed to be the spot where Lord Vishnu's footprints were found, and pilgrims often visit this place for blessings. The site offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Alaknanda River: The Alaknanda River flows near the Badrinath Temple and is a source of peace and tranquility. Pilgrims can take a moment to reflect by the river's banks and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. Overnight stay at Badrinath or Govindghat hotel.

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh, the 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of “Hrishikesh " and enjoy adventure activities at Shivpuri, sight-seen covering Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Bharat Mandir, Swarg Ashram, Parmarth Niketan, Geeta Bhawan, Tera Manzil Temple (Trimbkeshwar Mandir), later Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, Overnight halt at Rishikesh hotel.

Today after breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Delhi / Dehradun / Rishikesh / Haridwar reach and you will transfer to Airport to catch the flight for your onward journey. End of our services with sweet memories………
