The key highlights include visiting the sacred Char Dham (Yamunotri Temple, Gangotri Temple, Baba Kedarnath Temple & Baba Badri Vishal Temple) shrines, exploring the Panch Badri (Bhavishya Badri, Yogdhyan Badri, Baba Badri Vishal, Vridha Badri and Aadi Badri) temples, experiencing the divine serenity of the Himalayas, and enjoying breathtaking scenic views throughout the journey.

The Yatra spans 12 days, starting from Delhi and covering both the Char Dham and Panch Badri pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand.

The best time for this Yatra is from April to June and September to November when the weather is pleasant, and the roads are open for pilgrimage.

While the Yatra is open to all, some locations, like Kedarnath, require trekking and may be challenging for elderly or people with mobility issues. It’s advisable to check the physical requirements of the trek before booking.

The Yatra is conducted via comfortable private vehicles from Delhi to the various pilgrimage sites. Local transportation like ponies, palkis, and helicopters may be used for specific locations like Kedarnath.

While meals are provided as part of the package, it is recommended to carry water and some snacks during the travel for convenience.

The Char Dham temples are generally open from Akshaya Tritya (April or May) to Bhaiya Doj (October or November). During the winter months, they may be closed due to heavy snowfall and harsh weather conditions.

The trek to Kedarnath is moderate and spans about 16 kilometers from Gaurikund. It can be challenging due to altitude and weather conditions. Ponies and palanquins are available for a more comfortable journey.

While there is no mandatory health check-up, it is highly recommended for travelers to be in good health and physically fit, especially due to the high altitudes and trekking involved.

Essential items to pack include comfortable trekking shoes, warm clothes (even in summer, the weather can be cold), rain gear, a first-aid kit, personal toiletries, and any prescribed medicines.

There are no strict age restrictions, but people with serious health issues or very young children may find the journey strenuous. It’s always best to consult a doctor before embarking on the Yatra.
